Tergo Forte URF
The Atlet Tergo Forte URF. A versatile very narrow aisle reach truck based on the chassis of the hugely successful Tergo Forte reach truck. A forklift truck for working in very narrow aisles whilst providing effective free-range manoeuvrability outside the narrow-aisle store.
Featuring 180 degree fork rotation, the Tergo Forte URF is a narrow aisle stacker primarily for use in guided aisles but with free-range ability outside the guided aisle. With transfer aisles as small as 3,700mm the URF offers the opportunity to maximise space utilisation and storage capacity.
A perfect truck when working in combination with High level Order Pickers. Resulting in the most suitable truck for stacking operations working alongside the most suitable truck for picking operations.
Allowing the operator to concentrate fully on the job of stacking, the truck is guided in the aisle by rails or wire. The load can be raised as soon as the truck is in the aisle providing more effective diagonal travel. Typical work cycle times are 15-20% faster than free-range trucks. Further options such as a pre-selector for quickly and accurately arriving at the correct storage level further enhances efficiency. And to provide the operator with maximum visibility a camera and monitor are available.
Other features: Atlet Modular Concept design for maximum uptime. AC motors for reduced maintenance plus maximum acceleration and drive speed. Atlet Stability Support System S3 for controlled operational safety. ATC truck computer with PIN code access for onboard diagnostics, plus optimum performance settings for novice and experienced drivers and to prevent unauthorised use.

Reduced costs and enhanced efficiency with narrow-aisle warehousing
Optimisation of storage areas is becoming increasingly attractive. The reduced costs generated by better utilisation of storage areas, lower costs for new buildings, possibilities of expansion etc. give the compact, high-bay warehouse definite advantages. A simple comparison between two types of warehouse shows that high storage in narrow aisles can reduce logistics costs by 20–25%. The conventional warehouse requires aisle widths of over 2.5 metres. In the narrow-aisle warehouse the aisle width is between 1.5 and 1.7 metres.
A narrow-aisle store can be built as a total warehousing solution or as part of a total storage system. Narrow aisles can only be served by narrow-aisle trucks, but narrow-aisle trucks also work in wide aisles.
Narrow-aisle warehouse layouts are adapted to storage and handling needs. The layout and efficiency of a warehouse can be simulated and evaluated using the Atlet Logistics Analyser, which is a valuable aid when assessing the design and capacity of a narrow-aisle store.
