How to define a placing strategy in a racking area.

Step 05
Move to the 1:st box (Pos 1) in the lower field. This is where you define how many percentage of the total flow in this rack will go where.

In this example we want 80% of the movements to take place in 20% of the rack depth. So we define the first area from Pos 1 (1:st pallet) to Pos 6 (6:th pallet) and all 5 levels (from 1 to 5), and indicate 80%.

Then move down to the next line with the tab.-key and define the rest of the rack, thus from Pos 7 to Pos 33 lenghtwise and Level 1 to Level 5 in height. The remaining 20% of the movements in this rack will then take place in this area.

There is no limit to what detail you can indicate the area. So in theory you can define each pallet position, but it is probably to 'overkill'¨.

If you make a mistake and want to delete a row you can use
the Ctrl + Del key.

Do not forget to press the 'Add zones to strategy' button when you are finished.
