How to create a simple racking system

Step 02
Fill in the input areas or choose from the data bank. The levels are calculated automatically, but can also be changed manually.

We change the 1:st beam level to 2 m (helps the picker to avoid hitting it with his head), and the rest with 1.5 m distance.

Look below for details on the racking!

C = Depth across frame (normally 1100 mm or 1000 mm for a 1200 mm deep pallet)

D = Depth of pallet

H = Height to top beam

E = Width between racking uprights (note the difference between E and Ast)

B = Back-to-back distance between rack frames (note the difference between B and A)

1S = 1 pallet per beam with the short side of the pallet facing the aisle.

2S = 2 pallets per beam.

3S = 3 pallets per beam.

F = Upright width.

1L = 1 pallet per beam with the long side of the pallet facing the aisle.

2L = 2 pallets per beam.
