Atlet pleases Waitrose partners

Innovative and creative solution and expert project management by Atlet has helped Waitrose boost productivity and eliminate manual battery handling at its Aylesford distribution centre. Atlet undertook the design and oversaw the entire materials handling equipment and battery change project as well as supplying a new fleet of reach trucks, order pickers, pallet transporters, counterbalance and hand pallet trucks.

Atlet furnishes new fleet for Laura Ashley

Atlet’s lift truck solution for Laura Ashley at Coalville is projected to cost less over the trucks’ lifecycle than the original fleet that it replaces. The fashion and home furnishings retailer chose Atlet because the company offered a highly effective single package - including powered pallet transporters, battery changing facilities, maintenance and service - to deliver best value over the whole life of the contract.

Atlet adds weight to paper partnership

Since the beginning of 2007 leading paper merchant Antalis has been rationalising its warehouse truck fleet to standardise on just two suppliers, including Atlet. During this time Atlet has delivered over 70 trucks to various sites throughout the UK and worked with Antalis to improve overall fleet performance with lower overall cost of ownership, reduced downtime through a combination of full-service and preventative maintenance and aligned truck provision with operational requirements.

Trucks perform double act at Schiedel Rite Vent!

When Schiedel Rite Vent was planning a new finished goods and raw materials warehouse at its factory it specified double deep racking served by a new Atlet lift truck to maximise storage capacity. "We chose Atlet again because they provide good service and a quality product. The new truck is excellent and the ones that have been refurbished look like new", says Paul Mansfield, Warehouse Mgr.

NISSAN acquires Atlet

GOTHENBURG, Sweden (Sept. 5th, 2007) –Nissan Motor Co., Ltd., today concluded an agreement, through its subsidiary, Nissan Forklift Europe B.V., with the shareholders of Atlet AB to acquire a 100% stake in the Swedish warehouse equipment manufacturer.

Business supplies wholesaler Kingfield Heath estimates that the switch to Atlet warehouse trucks has already saved more than £17,000 at its Lutterworth distribution centre.
