Served by rising-cab trucks or cranes, this method is for heavier goods flows and needs very little space.
Requires administrative systems and is usually supplemented by rational methods of co-ordinating and forwarding articles after picking.
Single or multiple-tier
Shelving can be fitted for all types of small goods. Gives good utilization of space.
All levels can be served by either pedestrian trolleys or trucks. Goods can be moved up and down either by trucks or by hoists.
